Zusammenfassung

Tumoren des kraniozervikalen Übergangs (KZÜ) haben unterschiedliche Prognosen im Hinblick auf Überlebenszeit und Heilung. Korrekte Lokalisation und Artbestimmung sind entscheidend für die Wahl der bestmöglichen Therapie. Voraussetzung dafür ist neben der Kenntnis der klinischen Symptomatik die Kenntnis des radiologischen Erscheinungsbilds der einzelnen Tumoren samt möglicher Differentialdiagnosen. Im zweiten Teil dieser Übersicht beschreiben wir das morphologische und radiologische Erscheinungsbild der Tumoren am KZÜ und diskutieren ausführlich auch epidemiologische Aspekte.

Summary

Tumours of the craniocervical junction (ccjct) vary considerably in respect of survival times and cure rates. Correct localisation and tissue diagnosis are decisive for selecting the most suitable treatment. To do so one must be familiar not only with the clinical symptoms but also with the imaging features and the possible differential diagnoses of the individual tumour. In a second part of this overview we present the morphological and imaging features of the tumours occurring at the ccjct, and discuss in addition their epidemiological aspects.
